When money disappears, the person in charge of monitoring the accounts would be the first to notice, right? And if she doesn’t tell the owner about the missing money, well, he’s inclined to get a little suspicious. But, Sinn has been working for Ivan for a long time, and he wants to give her the benefit of the doubt, and figures someone put her up to not reporting the missing money. So when Ivan confronts Sinn about the missing funds, he expects her to initially deny knowing anything about it, but gives her an easy out to point the finger at the real thief while he ties her up for a little incentive. She still claims innocence and ignorance, even as Ivan ties her wrists, ankles, and knees, but eventually she gives him a name – just before he puts a gag between her teeth. He does go and check the records of the accused , though, leaving her to squirm and twist, tied to the chair. Lucky for her, her educated guess was right, but now Ivan has another problem – he tied up one of hiss employees… He asks Sinn if she is going to stay working for him and not going to the cops for his actions, and of course she vigorously agrees, especially after he offers her a raise and promises to untie her.
